Mac Electroflash Vs. Jesse's Girl

I don't have much time to really write this right now (my boyfriend's coming home from Florida =] I haven't seen him in 2 weeks so gotta shower up and get all cute)
But I really wanted to write about this. I got a nice paycheck today so to celebrate I went to Nordstrom's. I got a few things from Smashbox and MAC. I'll show you the rest later..possibly swatches as well or even pix of me wearing them.

I bought 2 duo's from the Electroflash line. I got sea and sky, and odd couple. After that I went to Rite Aid to get a few things and I stumbled upon some cosmetics that looked similar to MAC'S new Electroflash duo's.
Curious as I was, I bought the last one pictured called Volcanic. I can't believe how vibrant and pigmented it is...
only $4.99 opposed to MAC's $18 bucks? I didn't pay attention to how much I spent I just swiped the tab before I got any 2nd thoughts..
Now I know it's not the SAME color to be compared, but just take note of the payoff they both have.

Here's a swipe of Jesse's girl. Nice isn't it?? Smooth, rich, shimmery, and vibrant. This is WITHOUT a base.

And now the two side by side. Almost the same??
It looks pretty darn close to me...
Now I haven't worn any of these yet so I can't really say much about how they will last on the face but this to me says enough.
I think this Jesse's Girl shadow color is closer compared to the colors of Pink Split or Love Connection in the new Electroflash Duo's.

I know having MAC is nice sometimes... I got lucky with a nice paycheck this week.
So I went for it.
But all in all, I would seriously go back and get more Jesse's girl Baked Eyeshadows.
With gas being all crazy in price right now in California, I'd like to control my wallet and still look great.
